A very good cup of scorching cocoa on a cold morning is among the issues I like most this time of yr. Marshmallows aren’t elective.

But I hate these little clumps of dry cocoa that by no means appear to interrupt aside or dissolve, irrespective of how a lot I whisk. So annoying! Happily, our contributor Sally has an answer.

In her latest submit on making Homemade Hot Cocoa Mix, Sally gives this genius answer:

Make a paste with the new cocoa combine and one or two tablespoons of the milk. Make positive all of the cocoa combine is moistened, after which stir in the remainder of the milk.

Since it’s already moistened, the cocoa combine will dissolve evenly into the milk. No dry clumps.

Give it a strive for your self!
