Happy Long Weekend! Jack and I are off to the farmers market this morning however I needed to pop in rapidly and share this sangria recipe. I posted it on Instagram awhile again – however I feel it’s such a refreshing cocktail for weekend BBQ’s that I needed to share it right here on the weblog as properly.
This combines two of my favourite issues on this planet – iced tea and wine! Its easy to make – simply pour the wine and iced tea into a big pitcher and add the fruit. Chill in a single day, in order that the flavors will infuse, and serve it at your vacation gathering tomorrow!
Orange Peel Black Tea Sangria
- 1 bottle dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
- 1 bottle of orange scented black tea (resembling Pure Leaf’s Valencia Orange Peel Organic Black tea)
- 1 massive orange sliced into skinny wedges or rounds
- 6 strawberries, sliced
- ½ cup raspberries
- In a big pitcher, mix the white wine, tea, orange slices, strawberries and raspberries. Chill for a minimum of 12 hours (in a single day is finest) then serve over ice.
Mint and/or basil is scrumptious on this recipe as properly. Stir in recent herbs few hours earlier than serving so they do not wilt in a single day.
